			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p><strong>Drawing a scene &#8211; </strong>Well, to draw a complicated scene is quite  a tough  job.  You  have  to consider  many things,  perspective,  composition,   story-based which means inside the story, people&#8217;s wearing, creatures&#8217; look and etc.</p>
<p>Looking for references is one of the good way to kickstart. Reference materials obtained from TV documentary show, magazine such like National Geographic, photo on sceneries are good choice to get the ideas.</p>

<p>Drawing monster is on of the common fantasy based art. You can see all sorts of monsters from movies, video games, to comics book and etc.</p>
<p>Monsters and creatures are plays an important role in any fantasy based story.</p>
<p>To design a fantasy based monster character, one has to go through these steps.</p>
<p>1) <strong>Research and analysis</strong> : There has many ways to do research; television shows, documentary magazine, internet and etc. Learn and practice based on their apperance, shape, behavior.</p>
<p>2) <strong>Reading</strong> : Books of mythology, history, geography&#8230;this is to learn more about the monster possible behaviour, habitat or surroundings.</p>
<p><span class="bold">Monster design is categorized into: -</span></p>
<p><span class="bold">1) <strong>Werecreatures</strong> &#8211; Based on actual animals of the our world then, transform them into humanoid form. These monsters have their own language, culture and habits.</span></p>
<p><span class="bold">2</span>) <strong>Alien Creature</strong> &#8211; These monster design defy the logical means we have in this world. They can be considered alien to our world.</p>
<p>3) Based on old fiction, the <strong>Mythology</strong> e.g. pegasus, hydra, basilisk and etc.</p>
<p>Today, I&#8217;m going to show you example on how to draw a monster based on old fiction &#8211; <strong>The Minotaur</strong>!</p>
